January not so bad after all


By mid-January, a bit of a lapse in goldfinches, making only one or two appearances. Can't complain about  a lack of colors, since plenty of cardinals and red-bellies drop in at the feeder. With the blue jays in abundance as well, the snowy landscape creates a perfect backdrop.
